12 East 88th Street is a mid-rise apartment building located on the Upper East Side. Kamen Tall Architects was retained to design façade repair and window replacement schemes as a complement to an already-underway interior gut renovation project. In addition to replacing one-over-one windows with a six-over-six window configuration, the scope of work included brick replacement, repointing, terra-cotta repair and cleaning.
