344 West 11th Street
344 W 11th St, Greenwich Village
Brick structure with stone banding, coping, window lintels and sills; wood cornices and storefronts; and pressed metal ornamental cornices ca.1890
This 1890’s corner building is part of a four-building co-op complex in the West Village and is landmarked as part of the Greenwich Village Historic District. Old age, lack of maintenance and years of incompatible repairs caused the building to fall into a state of disrepair. A full conditions survey was conducted of the exterior envelopes and roofs of all buildings in the complex. Restoration of 344 West 11th street was completed in January of 2016. Since then, KTA has continued to design and administer capital improvement projects at the complex.
