Matthew March, SPRAT I
Mr. March is a senior project manager with education from New York Institute of Technology and City University of New York. Before working at KTA, Mr. March worked as an Assistant Director of Construction where he worked to deliver finished commercial interior projects. Mr. March has expertise in estimating, detailed proposal writing, acquiring pricing, subcontractor negotiation, generating and executing project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, leading meetings with clients and building managers, and maintaining effective client communication.
Mr. March’s interest in architecture and construction has always been focused on adaptive reuse, therefore Kamen Tall’s focus on exterior restoration and preservation fit in perfectly with his long held interests. Being able to preserve and improve upon the aging building stock across the city provides Mr. March with a great sense of satisfaction. Mr. March’s background in architecture and in general contracting allows him to pull from his knowledge base every day to help solve emergent problems on site or in design documents. Being able to rebuild, repair, and preserve buildings throughout the 5 boroughs is extraordinarily rewarding and always interesting. It imprints an appreciation for those who built the city before us and allows us as design professionals to become part of the history of the city.
